DISCOVERY SCIENCE CENTER INSTALLS INTERACTIVE ZAMBONI EXHIBIT

PARAMOUNT, CALIFORNIA (June 10, 2009) – The Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana, California has opened its “Science of Hockey” exhibit featuring an interactive Zamboni machine and video as a part of their permanent installation.

Exhibit Details

The Anaheim Ducks, USA Hockey and the National Hockey League came together to bring the science of hockey to life for fans of all ages. You can take part in a media experience in the broadcast booth, face off in the “quiz” penalty box, test your reaction time and step into the skater’s challenge box to see how your skating skills compare to the pros.

Zamboni Machine

The Zamboni machine exhibit was developed in connection with the Zamboni Company and features real Zamboni machine parts from the Zamboni factories in Paramount, California and Brantford, Ontario, Canada. For visitors that don’t climb aboard the machine display, a dashboard assembly has been mounted to the wall, allowing interactivity from their perspective.
