Model 100
|
The “baby brother” to the full sized
machine designed for hockey rinks. This miniature
unit, approximately 1/10th the size of the standard
unit, adapts to several different John Deere® garden tractors, and is ideally
suited for small rinks with surfaces of 1000 to 3000
square feet. Please contact the Zamboni Company or a
John Deere dealer to determine which tractor model will
meet the requirements of the Model 100.
A major feature of the Model 100 is its revolutionary Duralite disposable blade with superior ice shaving qualities. Like its “big brother”, this compact unit shaves the ice, picks up the shavings and spreads water all in one operation. Storage room facilities: The storage room should be heated and should have a floor drain grill measuring 1 foot (.3m) square. The room should be located close to the rink and preferably on the same level to eliminate the need for a ramp. The minimum suggested door opening is 6 feet (1.8m) wide. The storage room should not be less than 12 feet (3.6m) in length.
